You can cook your spaghetti squash whole in the oven at 375 degrees. You will first poke the squash with a fork, put it on a baking pan, lay the squash sideways on the pan in oven, and bake for an hour, turning it over once. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for ten minutes before slicing it in half. Scoop out the centre pulp and seeds. Then separate the strands of the flesh with a fork. Serve with butter, salt, and pepper.
If you would like to boil spaghetti squash, that can be done as well. You can boil it in a pot ½ to 2/3 full of water. Once the water has boiled, turn the heat to medium and put the squash in whole. Turn the squash about every ten minutes but don’t let the water boil. Cook the squash for about half an hour or until it is soft. Then slice it horizontally and remove the pulp and seeds. Take strands of the flesh apart with a fork and place in a large bowl. Add your favorite spaghetti sauce that you have preheated. Serve like regular spaghetti. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
